# Token Emissions

Token emissions will taper down over an 18-year period, with 78% of supply released in the first year and a total of 84% by the end of the second year.\
Our hope is that in tapering emissions down so rapidly, we'll switch from a largely inflation-based incentive model to a revenue-based model over our first 12-18 months.
